The Asia Pacific Regional learning Hub operates under the Community Engagement Strategic Initiative (CE SI) of the Global Fund which is implemented in its fourth cycle from January 2024 until December 2026. It supports six Learning Hubs spread across the world including Asia Pacific Regional Learning Hub (Seven Alliance Consortium). The CE SI objective is to strengthen the leadership and engagement of communities most affected by HIV, TB and malaria in Global Fund and related national processes throughout the grant life cycle to improve the impact of Global Fund investments.
The Regional Learning Hubs aim to facilitate information exchange and best practices at local, national, regional, and global levels, on community engagement in Global Fund and related processes, and work to improve access to technical assistance (TA). In this regard, the Asia Pacific Regional Learning Hub (Seven Alliance Consortium) serves as a regional resource center that communities, country stakeholders, and partners can approach for support, knowledge sharing and capacity strengthening related to the three diseases and Global Fund processes ensuring timely access to information and relevant peer learning and exchange among communities and civil society, Strengthen the leadership and engagement of communities most affected by HIV, TB and Malaria in Global Fund and related national processes, throughout the grant cycle..
Under the project initiative, Asia Pacific Regional Learning Hub launched the Learning Needs Assessment Survey across Asia Pacific Community Led & Community-Based Organizations (CLOs/CBOs) working with the TB, Malaria, and HIV communities. The objectives of the assessment were:
