The Global Fund Eighth Replenishment: A Key Moment for Asia-Pacific Communities
The Eighth Replenishment is a vital opportunity to ensure the Global Fund can continue delivering life-saving interventions, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region where key populations—including people living with HIV, sex workers, LGBTQIA+ individuals, people who use drugs, and migrants—face significant health inequities. Despite progress, the communities still experience high disease burdens and funding gaps. The Global Fund Advocates Network Asia-Pacific (GFAN AP), Seven Alliance and its partners are mobilizing civil society, community leaders, and grassroots networks to participate in and influence this replenishment process. Through education, strategic advocacy, and public engagement, the toolkit aims to build momentum among local and regional stakeholders. Advocates are encouraged to use this resource to raise awareness, share powerful messages, and participate in coordinated campaigns that call for stronger donor commitments and sustained political will.
