The primary purpose of the webinar series was twofold. Firstly, it aimed to enhance the capacity of key population (KP) and people living with HIV (PLHIV) communities to establish robust and sustainable CLM mechanisms at the country level. Secondly, the event aimed to foster cross-learning and sharing of experiences and best practices to promote acceptance and buy-in for CLM across the region.
The Seven Alliance, a regional consortium leading the development and building the expertise of Community-Led Monitoring (CLM) in the Asia-Pacific region, is thrilled to announce the successful completion of a two-day webinar in the second phase of the webinar series on CLM. These webinars provided an opportunity for participants to gather better understanding into CLM indicators, data management, analysis, and the meaningful engagement of key population communities in developing indicators related to structural and social issues affecting health services.
Upon identifying the need for a regional mechanism to monitor community-led monitoring (CLM) in countries across the Asia-Pacific region, the Seven Alliance organized Line Up for Change: Collaboratively shaping the Asia Regional Observatory (ARO) Indicators.
