The Seven Alliance launches the Asia-Pacific Learning Hub as a vibrant space for peer exchange, capacity building, and collaboration. Funded through the Global Fund’s Grant Cycle 7, the Asia-Pacific Learning Hub aims to provide diverse training programs, resources, and opportunities to enhance key population community-led initiatives addressing tuberculosis, HIV, and malaria. As a regional resource center, it can be approached by communities, country stakeholders, and partners to find capacity building initiatives; guidance for generating, analyzing, and using data; knowledge sharing opportunities; and support for requesting Technical Assistance (TA).
The Seven Alliance—composed of APCOM, APN+, APNSW, APTN, ICWAP, NAPUD, and Youth LEAD—forms a united consortium of regional key population networks that play vital roles in engaging national stakeholders and representing their voices at the global level. As a consortium, the Seven Alliance multiplies each network’s impact and demonstrates the value of collaboration in strengthening community-led initiatives and fostering community engagement in the response to TB, HIV, and malaria.
A key element of the Asia-Pacific Learning Hub is the dissemination of monthly newsletters. These newsletters ensure regular access to timely, relevant, and contextualized information about The Global Fund and community-led monitoring (CLM) to all communities across the three disease components. Newsletter subscribers will be updated on technical assistance opportunities, guidance, reports, and other useful information and resources to strengthen community-led initiatives and engagement.
There are more opportunities to interact with the Asia-Pacific Learning Hub in the coming months as Seven Alliance continues to plan and organize virtual learning sessions and support community-led networks in generating knowledge, community data and advocacy strategies.
